So this week, I’m just sitting on my couch when the doorbell rings.  When I answer it, there is a huge package sitting on the porch, addressed to me!

I opened it up excitedly, and – low and behold….My newest toy:

That’s right, I have a soft-serve machine!  It was a surprise gift from my mother.  And in case you couldn’t tell from the picture… it’s PINK!

Best mother in the world?  CHECK. 

So, part of the reason that I haven’t been writing much about my eats is because they have consisted almost entirely of homemade soft serve. 

So far chocolate has been my favorite.

But I’ve also made vanilla and some protein ice cream too.  I’m so excited, THANK YOU MOMMY!

The lesson of the day?  Looks can be deceiving….
